Tapestry – Panel 4

This panel depicts a fun moment at the Nibelungen War when King John inspected the rapier fighters.  In the top margin, You can see Honor with our faithful hound Lucy.  The next frame in the margin acknowledges a new Queen’s Guard – Alan, who joined the ranks of Honor’s Guard at Nibelungen.  In the bottom margin is a mouse and an ink pot which pays homage to our wonderful friend and Signet Clerk Bridget.  The next frame notes the bestowing of a Court Baroncy on Mistress Caitrin.
